Privacy Promise: Your Data Stays Yours

BodyTypeCalc was built from the ground up with privacy as a core principle — not an afterthought. Here's exactly how we protect your data.

No Data Collection

We don't collect, store, or have access to your measurements. Every calculation — body type classification, waist-to-hip ratio, BMI, body fat estimation — happens entirely in your browser using JavaScript that runs on your device.

How It Works

  1. You enter your measurements into the calculator
  2. Your browser processes the numbers locally using our open measurement algorithms
  3. Results are displayed instantly on your screen
  4. Nothing is sent to our servers — we never see your data

Optional Measurement History

If you choose to track your measurements over time, that history is stored in your browser's local storage — the same technology websites use to remember your preferences. It never leaves your device. You can clear it at any time by clearing your browser data.

No Accounts, No Signups

We don't have user accounts. There's no login, no registration, no email collection. You visit the site, use the tools, and leave. That's the entire relationship.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand overall site usage (which pages are popular, which languages are most used). This data is aggregated and anonymous — it cannot be linked back to individual users or their measurements.

Ads

We may display ads via Google AdSense. These ads are served by Google and are subject to Google's privacy policy. Your measurement data is never shared with advertisers.

Your Rights

  • You have the right to use our tools without providing any personal information
  • You can clear your measurement history at any time through your browser settings
  • You can use the site with ad blockers, VPNs, or private browsing mode
